Early Childhood Today...
One of my favorite magazines was Early Childhood Today from Scholastic. Early Childhood Today has made the transition from print magazine to a more expansive presence online in order to better service early childhood professionals. Through their website, they can offer free access to an incredible archive filled with over 22 years of rich early childhood information from among the top experts in the field.
Actually saw some snow flurries yesterday... Don't know if I'm ready for winter yet, but the time change and the cooler weather sure makes it feel a lot closer. Today, I want to share a great online resource for both child care professionals and parents...

There are excellent sections on behavior and development, activities, curriculum ideas, tips & strategies, and more.
Though I will miss the magazine arriving in the mail, this is definitely a gain for anyone who was not a subscriber. Check out this great online resource at http://teacher.scholastic.com/products/ect/index.htm. This is a website that you need to have saved in your favorites for future reference.
